A Private Assessment of Traditional Latin Mass Needs in North DFW

Many Catholic families north of DFW metropolis travel long distances each week to attend the Traditional Latin Mass. We are conducting a private, preliminary assessment to better understand the need — so we can prudently and respectfully consider presenting this reality to our bishops.

The Case for Consideration

+20 miles, +2000 souls and 2 bishops
The Long Drive for Large Families
+20 miles
Many North DFW families regularly drive 20 miles or more — often much more — to attend the Traditional Latin Mass, often with multiple young children in tow.
Real Pastoral Need
+2000 souls
The existing TLM locations south of DFW Airport servers well over 2000 souls. They are at or over capacity. Parking is limited, churches are full, with overflow rooms. Many families find it increasingly difficult to attend their beloved Mass regularly due to distance, time, and space constraints.
A Respectful and Prudent Request
2 bishops
We are gathering real, honest data to respectfully present to our 2 bishops. Dallas and Fort Worth. This is not a public petition, but a private, prayerful effort, fully obedient to Church authority and guided by charity, prudence, and love for Holy Mother Church.

How Can You Help

1
Take the Assessment
This is our first and most important step. Whether you travel 10 miles or 50, your input helps us understand the pastoral realities families face in North DFW. It only takes a few minutes.
2
Do you know other families who attend (or would like to attend) the Traditional Latin Mass? Please consider discreetly sharing this website with them. The more complete our picture, the more helpful it will be.
3
Pray for Guidance
We ask for your prayers — that the Holy Spirit may guide our bishops, inspire our efforts with charity, and bless all families devoted to the Church's sacred liturgy.

For the Cautious or Curious

If you’re hesitant or unsure about this project, that’s completely understandable. My name is Daniel, and I’m not an outsider — just another TLM dad from North DFW who’s been making the long Sunday drives with my family for years. This isn’t about pressure or publicity. It’s a quiet, respectful effort from within the community — and I’d be happy to talk if you have questions or concerns.
